scholarship opportunities. Also you should check the email that you listed on your DFS profile for important messages and

Dollars for Scholars volunteer night is in November and mandatory.
West Central Area Dollars for Scholars
The WCA DFS application is ONLY available online at our local chapter website: www.WCADFS.org (paper copies not accepted)
Applications are considered on an anonymous basis using a fair and easy point system. The criteria for a scholarship may include any or all of the following:
- School and community involvement
- Grade point average and class rank
- Work experience
- Education and career goals
- Special circumstances
To facilitate the application process, students are encouraged to log their activities, awards, work experience and community involvement throughout grades 9-12.
Two types of scholarships are available:
DFS Performance Scholarships are awarded to all WCA Seniors who meet the following criteria:
1. Complete the DFS Application
2. Achieve a Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
3. Volunteer in the Concession Stand
4 Attend the DFS Awards Ceremony in the spring
DFS Sponsored Scholarships are awarded in order of rank achieved using an anonymous scoring system, with consideration given to receipt of restricted awards.
