All of Grant County schools participated in an Impact Speaker event on Tuesday September 17 at the Herman Norcross Public School.

Students watched Lasting Impact - Logan's Story. Logan's Story involved high speed and with no seat belts. A somber story, that hopefully impacted our young drivers to choose to drive safe.

Fatal vision goggles were also demonstrated to help make an impactful message about the dangers of impaired driving as well.

The Grant County TZD Coalition also handed out phone vent clips to all students to help remind students to drive hands free.

In addition, the Landon Lien crash vehicle display was on-site at the Herman Norcross School and will be at both Ashby Public School and West Central Secondary School in Barrett this week.

Thank you to the MN State Patrol, the Grant County Sheriff's Office, and all the Grant County Schools for helping make this event happen.

Safe driving is everyone's responsibility.
