Thursday, November 21st was Community Educator Day.  Community members were invited to come and share a talent or trade to students throughout the district.  We were pleased to host some very interesting visitors.  Reed Anfinson, owner of the Grant County Herald, Swift County Monitor - News and The Steven County Times talked about the importance of writing, proofreading and editing.  Alexis Vazquez, an employee at Brenton who builds machines mechanically and electrically that package things from cereal, to medical needles, to shampoo visited with many classes throughout the day and explained his job and the training required.  Brady Gades brought his company’s bucket truck to school and explained how he is able to use it to trim trees near power lines.
