Students Competing in the Special OlympicsThe WCA Special Olympics team is getting ready for another exciting competition.  The next competition is in the area of basketball.  This competition will take place at the Fergus Falls High School. The team competes in three individual events.  The events are speed dribbling, passing and shooting.  The team is excited to compete, have fun, and meet new people.  Nathaniel Junker states, “My favorite part is being able to socialize with kids I don’t know.”  “The hardest part about Special Olympics is practicing for the ten meter dribbling and shooting,” says Weston Beving.
